Regional Container Line is the first Thai carrier to provide a direct liner connection between the two countries of Thailand and Oman, by a weekly RGA service. M.V. Vira Bhum, the first Thai flag, has received a welcome ceremony in Sohar Port, Oman, on date 25 July 2022.

The Royal Thai ambassador, H.E. Mr. Suwat Kaewsook has joined in this celebration along with other honor guests, among them Sohar port CEO, Hutchison Terminal CEO, RCL Middle East Owner Representative and RCL Oman agency management.

On 30 June 2022, RCL employees donated disposable PET plastic bottles to Wat Chak Daeng in Samut Prakan to be recycled and used to make monk robes. It also benefits the environment by reducing waste, and the products can gain profits for the community.

On 8 April 2022, Khun Sumate Tanthuwanit, Managing Director, graciously contributed Baht 90,000 to the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation for the purpose of funding the purchase of medical equipment to Chulalongkorn Hospital for the COVID-19 patients and the poor breast cancer patients of the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation

With the surge in COVID-19 outbreak, RCL has stepped up to fight against it alongside the white warriors to get all of us pass through this crisis. On 24 October 2020, U Aung Than Htay, as a member of the Board of Directors, Owner's Representative, Mr. Chamnan Dashirun and the employees of RCL Myanmar Co., Ltd donated 8-units of Medical equipment to Yangon General Hospital where is underway intensive renovated for COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment activities through Dr. Myint Myint Aye and Dr. Soe Min, Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, with honoring by Ms. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Ambassador of Royal Thai Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Khun Sumate Tanthuwanit, Managing Director of RCL and RCL management team together with Bangkok Terminal Logistics Co., Ltd. donated the 45 liters-water wheel tank totaling 700 tanks via Dr. Pornthep Siriwanarangson, Chairman of Emergency Medical Foundation of Thailand for purpose of distribution to the people living in the drought areas in Prayao, Srisaket, Kanjanaburi and Kalasin Provinces. Also to support the emergency rescue unit and the co-network partners with Pitakkarn Foundation at the National Institute of Emergency Medicine.
